Construction Organization Design The construction organization design for steel structure installation should briefly describe the project overview, comprehensively tally the quantities, accurately select construction machinery and methods, reasonably arrange the installation sequence, specifically formulate major installation technical measures, strictly set installation quality and safety standards, and conscientiously prepare the project schedule, labor plan, and material supply plan. 2. Pre-construction Inspection Pre-construction inspections include the acceptance of steel components, inspection of construction machinery and measuring tools, and re-survey of the foundation. (1) Acceptance of Steel Components Steel components should be accepted according to construction drawings and specifications. When steel components are delivered to the site, the manufacturer should provide a product conformity certificate and the following technical documents: ① Design drawings and design modification documents; ② Quality assurance certificates or test reports for steel and auxiliary materials; ③ Test data for friction coefficient of high-strength bolts; ④ Factory inspection reports for Class I and Class II welds; ⑤ Inspection reports for geometric dimensions of steel components; ⑥ Component list. The installation unit should accept these and re-survey the actual condition of the components. If components are damaged during transportation, the manufacturer must be requested to repair them. (2) Inspection of Construction Machinery and Measuring Tools Before installation, important lifting machinery, tools, wire ropes, and other accessories must be inspected to ensure reliable performance for smooth and safe installation. During installation, measuring instruments and tools should be regularly sent to testing units designated by the national standards bureau for testing and calibration to ensure the accuracy of measurement standards. 3. Re-survey of the Foundation. Steel structures are fixed on concrete bases (foundations, column tops, corbels, etc.). Therefore, the accuracy and strength of the base and its anchor bolts must be re-surveyed. The base re-survey involves determining the horizontal elevation, flatness, deviation of anchor bolt horizontal positions, and correctness of anchor bolt embedment. The re-survey results and rectification requirements should be submitted to the base construction unit. 4. Prepare installation plans and component supply plans, and organize construction well. 5. Inspect steel components: Steel components should have a factory conformity certificate upon delivery. Before installation, check and verify the components according to the drawings, transport them to the installation area in the installation order, and place them as close as possible to the installation position without hindering installation to ensure convenience.
